Earn
Refer friends
Share a link. Earn 8 to 10% of every line bought through it.
Launch settings
This page describes the settings agreed for launch on 24 September 2026. The test network still runs older settings; see Test network.
How it works#
When someone buys lines with your referral, you earn part of the line price. It comes out of the $1, so the buyer pays nothing extra. It never comes out of prizes.
- Get your referral link from a Highroll app, or add your address to your own app’s purchases.
- Share it.
- When someone buys with it, your commission is recorded.
- Collect your commission whenever you like.
| Lines referred this month | Your rate |
|---|---|
| Under 250,000 | 8% |
| 250,000 to 1 million | 9% |
| Over 1 million | 10% |
Months are calendar months. Each month you get the rate earned by last month’s volume or this month’s, whichever is higher, so your rate doesn’t drop on the 1st.
An example#
Say your link brings in 1,000 lines at $1 each. At 8%, you earn $80.
If you split referrals 60/40 with a partner, you get $48 and they get $32.
The rules#
- Up to 5 referrers can share one purchase.
- You can’t refer yourself. The buyer and the line’s recipient can’t be referrers.
- No referrer? That part goes to Highroll’s fee, not the prize pool.
- It’s a purchase-time commission. There’s nothing extra when a line wins, and nothing is taken from winners.
- A higher rate comes out of Highroll’s fee. It never reduces prizes or the Backers’ share.
For developers
In the current code, FeeVault rejects the buyer or recipient as a referrer with BadReferral. Read attribution from the purchase calldata and ReferralAccrued, not from winnings. The referral rate and Highroll’s fee always add up to 12.5% of the line price. Apps still need their own checks for fake accounts.
Collect your earnings#
Commissions build up as a balance. Claim the balance to send it to your wallet.
For developers
Call FeeVault.claimReferrals(). It pays the caller’s commissions and emits ReferralPaid.
