Trust and safety
The app and the contracts
The app is what you see. The contracts run the game.
Two layers#
The app is the screen you use: a website, a wallet or a game. The contracts are programs on the blockchain that record purchases and apply the rules. Many apps can use the same contracts.
What the contracts do#
- Decide which round is on sale and which is being processed.
- Record who owns each line, and who referred the purchase.
- Draw the winning numbers and check the results.
- Track what’s owed to winners, referrers and Backers.
For developers
currentRound is the round on sale. settlementRound is the round being processed. A new sales round may still be waiting for its prizes and bonus range.
What each app must do#
- Check who can legally play, including age and location.
- Show prices, odds, prizes and campaign rules clearly.
- Keep wallet steps safe and offer support.
- Offer spending limits and responsible-play tools.
- Stop fraud and fake activity.
What “multichain” means#
A user can start on another chain. A routing service such as Relay or LiFi moves the funds and makes the purchase on Stable, where the round is recorded.
It doesn’t mean Highroll runs a lottery on every chain. For example, Robinhood Chain could be a starting point if a reviewed route supports it. There is no Highroll deployment there today.
